Event Details

Quest and Thrive brings you a unique kayaking adventure on the water where the Ballyline River meets the estuarine waters of Ballylongford Creek before flowing into the Atlantic Ocean.

We are teaming up with Caragh Outdoors whose expert instructor, Enda Prendergast, will guide you along historic waters that lead to the ancient village of Ballylongford, out into the waters where you will enjoy stunning views of beautiful Carrigafoyle Castle as you kayak along the north Kerry coastline.

Wetsuits, buoyancy aids, kayaks and paddles are all provided. Wear old shoes (they will get wet), swimwear for under the wetsuit, a hat to keep your head warm, towel/dryrobe for changing and warm clothes to change into. It’s always advisable to wear sunscreen, and especially at this time of year.

Each session will be followed with hot tea/coffee and baked treats served by Quest and Thrive on the pier.

Note: Spaces are limited to eight people per session. Each kayak holds two people. You can book a solo space and will share the kayak with another person.
