Save this delicious Cinnamon Apple Tea recipe!

1l boiling water
1/4 - 1/2 orange, roughly chopped 
1 apple
3 cinnamon sticks or 1 tsp cinnamon
Handful of fresh mint
2 teabags or 2 tbsp loose tea of choice (in this video black and basil tea was used)

In Celtic tradition, Samhain marks not just the end of the harvest, but the beginning of a new year, aligning with the natural cycles of life and nature. This time of year, often referred to as the "dark time," is when the Earth’s energy is focused inward. It’s a time for grounding, reflection, and replenishment, as the natural world rests and roots go deep into the soil. 

Similarly, it invites us to nourish our inner selves, reconnect with our roots, and take the time to heal, restore, and reflect. Like the earth in this season, we are encouraged to look within, tend to our own spiritual, emotional, and physical needs, so that we can sprout anew when the lighter, more active energies of spring arrive. It’s a reminder that rest, stillness, and introspection are just as important for growth as the more vibrant, outward phases of life.

1lb shaved Brussels sprout
3 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup of lentils, cooked according to package instructions 
1 lb asparagus, cooked and chopped into 2 inch pieces 
1 15oz can of artichokes, quartered
2-3 cooked beets, cubed 
2-3 cup shaved Parmesan cheese

DRESSING INGREDIENTS:
1/3 cup of olive oil 
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar 
2 tbsp lemon juice 
2 tbsp honey 
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
3 minced garlic cloves 
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
